Dear Docomomo Chapters,
Due to the exceptional circumstances of COVID-19, we are extending the deadline of June 1st to August 15th, 2020.
A plan for new documentation homework has been approved in the last Council Meeting, August 30th, 2018 (Ljubljana, Slovenia), proposed by the ISC/Registers. With the aim of moving forward to the documentation of conservation good practices, Docomomo Working Parties (WP) have to submit:
Working Parties that already have submitted 30 Documentation Fiches and uploaded 50 sites to MOMOVE:
(a) 1 fiche for 2019 and 1 fiche for 2020, on an example of Good Conservation Practice. Download the template here: link, and here: link.
(b) A bibliography with 5-10 publications (books or articles) on Modern Movement of each country, to have them online (unless previously sent). Each publication should be accompanied by a photo of the book, or of the article’s front page.
We recommend to reach at least 50 Documentation Fiches and upload 100 sites to MOMOVE.
Working Parties that have not yet submitted 30 Documentation Fiches and uploaded sites to MOMOVE:
The WP that not yet accomplished 30 Documentation Fiches must comply with the submission of:
(a) At least 30 Documentation Fiches (minimum). Download the template here: link.
(b) The information of at least 50 buildings for MOMOVE (Docomomo Virtual Exhibition). Please download the guidelines here: link.
(c) A bibliography with 5-10 publications (books or articles) on Modern Movement of each country, to have them online. Each publication should be accompanied by a photo of the book, or of the article’s front page.
For New Working Parties:
The New Working Parties must comply with the submission of:
(a) At least 20 Documentation Fiches (minimum). Download the template here: link.
(b) The information of at least 50 buildings for MOMOVE (Docomomo Virtual Exhibition). Please download the guidelines here: link.
(c) A bibliography with 5-10 publications (books or articles) on Modern Movement of each country, to have them online. Each publication should be accompanied by a photo of the book, or of the article’s front page.
The submission of the Homework for 2019-2020 must be sent to Louise Noelle (louisenoelle@gmail.com), Chair of ISC/Registers, with a copy to Docomomo International (docomomo@tecnico.ulisboa.pt) by August 15th, 2020.
In accordance with Docomomo International Headquarters, we also require a Commitment Report from all working Parties.
The Commitment Report is a succinct report of the activities that a working party has developed during the two years. It should include: publications, seminars, public presentations, tours, defense activities, and more . To facilitate the compliance of this entry, we elaborated a format to be filled out, that should be accompanied the requested attachments: Commitment Report.
