Registers. Homework submission until 31 January 2015

Dear DoCoMoMo Chairs, As it was decided in Seoul in September, the National Chapters that have not complied with the “homework” and sent the revised fiches with the motivation texts have until the end of January to do so. It is important for us all to participate since the result of these materials will be included in a publication edited by Panayotis Tournikiotis and Marieke Kuipers. Also, the revised fiches, in PDF Format, will be uploaded in the Docomomo Registers website, as well as the list with the 100 most important buildings, sites and neighbourhoods. Collaboration Protocol between DOCOMOMO International and CIALP

On the 20th January docomomo International and the International Council of Architects of Portuguese Language (CIALP) signed a Collaboration Protocol, represented by each President, Prof. Ana Tostões and Arch. João Belo Rodeia, respectively. The main ambition of CIALP is to come close and to cooperate among its members, as well as the promotion of architecture among people who speak Portuguese, becoming a platform for the 150,000 Portuguese-speaking architects, which is about 10% of the entire number of architects in the world. 3rd International Iconic Houses Conference: Iconic Masterpieces and Hidden Gems around the Mediterranean

The Iconic Houses Network and Fundació Catalunya-La Pedrera proudly announce the 3rd International Iconic Houses Conference taking place 25 November 2014 at La Pedrera in Barcelona, with pre-conference house tours from November 22nd – 24th.
