Happy 2022

Dear friends, Thanks to your effort and support, 2021 was definitely a very challenging year due to the COVID-19 Pandemic that we face since 2020. Having kept working hard, even in distance Online or by Zoom, we were able: – to hold the 16th International Docomomo Conference, Tokyo, Japan 2020+1, the first virtual International Docomomo Conference, along with the first online Docomomo workshop – oDOMOs; – to launch the Docomomo Rehabilitation Award with an online ceremony, being a publication on work; – along keeping the presence at several events and meetings mainly online and launching the 2 annual Docomomo Journals…

Richard Rogers (1933-2021)

It is with deep sadness that Docomomo International announces that last Saturday, 18th December 2021, Richard Rogers passed away. Docomomo International wishes to convey the most sincere condolences at the passing of the Italian-English Pritzker Prize winning architect to his family and friends. Co-designer of the Pompidou Center, Richard Rogers was one of the most renown architect of the hi-tech architecture aside from Normand Foster or Renzo Piano. Docomomo International is trilled to share that it is once again supporting a edition of the exhibition “Eileen Gray. E.1027, Arte Total”.
