Architectural Conservation Masterclass organised jointly by docomomo ISC U+L and the Scottish Centre for Conservation Studies: Brutalist Eyesore and Post Modern Monstrosities: Conserving the C20’s Least Popular Buildings by Catherine Croft.
Catherine Croft will consider shifting public attitudes to post-war buildings in the UK and discuss strategies to ensuring the best survive. Catherine Croft is Director of C20 Society and runs the Conservation for Historic Concrete course at West Dean College. She is currently editing a book on concrete conservation for the Getty Conservation Institute, and regularly writes and speaks about C20 architecture and design.
