The Chair of Docomomo International, Prof. Ana Tostões presented the lecture “How to reuse Modern Architecture” in PROHITECH´17, the 3rd International Conference on Protection of Historical Constructions, that took place in Lisbon (Lisboa), Portugal, between 12th and 15th July 2017. The themes of the conference were related to the protection of historical constructions and the topics range from structural and earthquake engineering, intervention strategies, materials and technologies, architecture and urban planning, represented by a showcase of diversified case studies covering different construction materials. Exhibition: Microexbition of Czech Postwar Architecture

From July to October 2017, a microexhibition promoting the Czech Docomomo Chapter will happen, located on 7th floor of Faculty of Architecture CTU Prague, Thakurova 9, Prague-Dejvice. “The exhibition is focused on Czech postwar architecture (now critically endangered) showing books and archive materials from sixties and other artifacts, collected from endangered or demolished buildings. This microexhibition is an advertisement for bigger exhibition of Czech Architecture 1945-1989, which will be organised by Faculty, Czech Docomomo and Czech Icomos. 2017 SAH Publication Awards: Winners
