The Chair of Docomomo International, Prof. Ana Tostões presented the lecture “How to reuse Modern Architecture” in PROHITECH´17, the 3rd International Conference on Protection of Historical Constructions, that took place in Lisbon (Lisboa), Portugal, between 12th and 15th July 2017.

The themes of the conference were related to the protection of historical constructions and the topics range from structural and earthquake engineering, intervention strategies, materials and technologies, architecture and urban planning, represented by a showcase of diversified case studies covering different construction materials. A novel set of topics was also addressed, such as sustainability, energy efficiency, re-use and adaptation to climate changes.
