EFAITH is working hard to turn the industrial heritage campaign of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018 into a success: the theme months, the cross-border initiatives and the twinning program. From September onwards the focus will be on promoting cross-border cooperation and twinning between associations. Cuban architect Isabel León passed away on August 4th, 2018, having left a deep trace among her many colleagues and friends. Architect León graduated in 1975 from the School of Architecture of the Havana Higher Polytechnic Institute. For several years she worked at the National Planning Institute’s central office. During that period she served for two years as advisor in Ethiopia’s physical planning organization. In Havana she developed many projects in collaboration with other colleagues.
