EFAITH is working hard to turn the industrial heritage campaign of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018 into a success: the theme months, the cross-border initiatives and the twinning program.

From September onwards the focus will be on promoting cross-border cooperation and twinning between associations.

There is still one theme month announced: October, will be devoted to adaptive re-use of industrial buildings, to promote and present good practices of giving a new life to old industrial buildings – respecting their heritage and image.
EFAITH itself will organise a series of initiatives, starting on October 4-5th EFAITH with lectures and debates on adaptive re-use of industrial buildings at the RenoResto trade fair in Brussels.
The full program of the October theme month will be available from the end of August.

Because of the overload of EYCH2018 meetings and initiatives in November and December, we decided to move the planned concluding meeting “Industrialization, science and technology, Key to European integration” to the second half of January 2018. It will take place in Brussels. Date and venue will be announced as soon as possible, but the call-for-papers is open.
