Archiprix Portugal is pleased to announce the opening of the 2016 edition of Archiprix Portugal Prize, which will, once again, distinguish the best Masters Thesis projects presented in the fields of Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Urbanism. Entries for this 2016 edition are possible until 17th January. The Chair of docomomo International, Professor Ana Tostoes, participated in the Colloquium on the Occasion of the 50th Anniversary of ICOMOS Germany, “Monument – Building – Culture – Conservationists and Architects in Dialogue”, in Mainz, Germany, from 26 to 28 November 2015. It was organised by ICOMOS Germany, the Chamber of Architects of Rhineland Palatinate, and the Directorate General Cultural Heritageof Rhineland Palatine, in cooperation with the Federal Foundation of Baukultur. Docomomo Virtual Exhibition

DOCOMOMO LAUNCHED GLOBAL VIRTUAL EXHIBITION Tecnico – University of Lisbon, Pavilhao de Civil e Arquitectura, Sala 4.41 Lisbon, 23 November 2015docomomo International launched a new project: the docomomo virtual exhibition(MoMove). The website –exhibition.docomomo.com – offers a selection of 2000 buildings and sites of the Modern Movement, curated by architects, historians and other professionals. docomomo International and Fondation Le Corbusier have gathered on the 9 November 2015, 6 pm, at Maison La Roche – Fondation Le Corbusier, in Paris, to celebrate the launching of docomomo Journal 53 – LC 50 Years After. As a tribute to Le Corbusier on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of his death, this issue of docomomo Journal is focused on rehabilitation and conservation processes undertaken on Le Corbusier buildings and sites worldwide monitored by the Fondation Le Corbusier. On 2nd November, docomomo International launched docomomo Journal 53 – LC 50 Years After, in Tokyo, Japan. The launching was conducted by the Chair of docomomo International, Prof. Ana Tostões, and had the presence of Prof. Franz Graf and Prof. Giulia Marino, authors of this issue. Docomomo International meeting with Docomomo Japan and ASEAN representatives

On 2nd November, took place, in Tokyo, a meeting of docomomo International, together with docomomo Japan and the ASEAN representatives, part of the mASEANa Project, that have participated in the Round Table and Colloquium “Conservation Action Priorities for Twentieth Century Heritage. Sharing experience of ASEAN Countries and Japan”. The Chair of docomomo International, Prof. Ana Tostões, presented successful cases of conservation and rehabilitation of Modern Movement heritage, worldwide. The chair and the vice-chair of docomomo Switzerland, Prof. Franz Graf and Prof. Giulia Marino, acted, also representing the TSAM-EPFL laboratory, in order to share the successful rehabilitation experience conducted in Lignon, Genève, followed by a very meaningful roundtable about conservation strategies on modern heritage monuments and sites…
