The RMB Conference 2018 was held in Coimbra, within the framework of the Colloquium ´Teaching through Design´, organized by the Department of Architecture and the Centre for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra, since 2012. Dirk van den Heuvel is an Associate Professor at TU Delft and heads the Jaap Bakema Study Centre at Het Nieuwe Instituut in Rotterdam. He has published and lectured widely on the work of Alison and Peter Smithson.
