Last 21st March 2017, the Chair of Docomomo International, Prof. Ana Tostões, visited the Yamanashi Cultural Center (1966), Kofu City, Japan, designed by Kenzo Tange. This building is an outstanding example of rehabilitation after being undergoing earthquake retrofitting which expects to extend the building’s lifespan for another 50 years.
