Dear friends, Thanks to your effort and support, 2021 was definitely a very challenging year due to the COVID-19 Pandemic that we face since 2020. Having kept working hard, even in distance Online or by Zoom, we were able: – to hold the 16th International Docomomo Conference, Tokyo, Japan 2020+1, the first virtual International Docomomo Conference, along with the first online Docomomo workshop – oDOMOs; – to launch the Docomomo Rehabilitation Award with an online ceremony, being a publication on work; – along keeping the presence at several events and meetings mainly online and launching the 2 annual Docomomo Journals…

Following the limitations caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic that closed libraries, bookstores, schools, universities and learning spaces all overs the world, Docomomo International endeavored to transform Docomomo Journal into open source, making all its contents available to readers. Therefore its website has been restructured. Since open source is one of the requirements demanded by the most demanding and effective scientific indexing systems – SCOPUS and Web of Science -, Docomomo International took the time to complete the necessary conditions for indexing, such as the creation of DOIs (digital object identifier) ​​for all published content.
