Docomomo international participated in the 6th scientific conference in the ‘Modernism in Europe – Modernism in Gdynia, between 24 and 26 of May, having Prof. João Belo Rodeia, member of the Advisory Board of Docomomo International, opening the conference.

“The 6th scientific conference in the ‘Modernism in Europe – Modernism in Gdynia’ series is a continuation of conferences held in 2007, 2009, 2012, 2014 and 2016. The series is currently the most important periodic event of this kind in Poland. Main themes of the forthcoming conference are research and popularization of modernist architecture. The contents of the conference will be supervised by the Scientific Committee consisting of prominent experts from Poland and abroad. Papers accepted and presented during the conference will be collected, edited and later published in a form of a reviewed book. The books including papers presented during previous conferences were published by the Gdynia City Hall in 2009, 2011 and 2014.”
