Dirk van den Heuvel is an Associate Professor at TU Delft and heads the Jaap Bakema Study Centre at Het Nieuwe Instituut in Rotterdam. He has published and lectured widely on the work of Alison and Peter Smithson. Together with Max Risselada he curated the Design Museum exhibition on the Smithsons’ house designs, ‘From The House of the Future to a House of Today’, as well as the Team 10 retrospective for the former Netherlands Architecture institute.
