Docomomo International would like to share the invitation from Docomomo US/Hawai’i to their Annual Membership Meeting to be virtually hosted at a historic Ossipoff-designed gem, the Pālehua Cabins. This is an opportunity for Docomomo Hawai’i to give a summary of this past year’s events, as well as discuss plans for the upcoming year.

Date and time: 21st Aug 21 2021, 4.00 p.m. – 1st Sep 2021, 6.00 p.m. (HST)

Typically the meeting is hosted at a mid-century modern site. With the challenges of having a physical gathering this year, the event will be host virtually.
Docomomo Hawai‘i has elected to produce a short film sharing the story of a very unique site that, even under normal circumstances, couldn’t hold the typical 50-60 person membership meeting.
This year, Docomomo Hawai‘i will be screening a short film on the Pālehua Cabins designed by Vladimir Ossipoff.
