24 and 25 February 2017, Conference and Excursion ‘Landschaft’, Karlsruhe and Frankfurt, Germany
Landscape – concepts of modernity and the future of the landscape, is subject to this years international exchange with special attention to the architecture and urban planning of the 20th century. Also, the latest projects and attitudes are discussed, such as: “Which future requirements and strategies are the current and future perspectives?”.
The lectures and discussions provide the discourse for and with architects, engineers, artists, gardeners and landscape planners, city planners, conservators, politicians and users on “landscape” as a urban territory as one of the important current topics of our series of international conferences on the contemporary treatment of modern architecture.
The 14th Karlsruhe Conference offers a conference on “Modernity, Substitutions”, “Technology”, “Energy”, “Ethics + Aesthetics” and “Living” after previous Karlsruher meetings with case studies on modernity in various countries Concentrated discourse and an excursion to current interesting landscape projects in Frankfurt.
