Sala TAC, Trasnocho Centro Cultural, Las Mercedes, CaracasThe “Trasnocho Arte Contacto” room (TAC, Trasnocho Centro Cultural), docomomo Venezuela and the embassy of Spain in Venezuela organize and present the exhibition: “Suite IBERIA: La Arquitectura de Influencia Española en Caracas”, which will open on 16th July 2015 at 7pm.The exhibition focuses on the several influences that the architectural and urban Spanish culture had in the construction of the modern Caracas, during the period 1900-1970.
Curated by Hannia Gómes and with the assistance of Valeria Ragonne (docomomo Venezuela), this exhibition brings together a broad collection of works, photographs, texts, documents and scale models, with the aim of presenting the different architectural works with Spanish influence that were built in Caracas during the last century (until 1970) by architects, engineers, sculptors, artisans and designers originating from Spain.
The exhibition “Suite IBERIA: La Arquitectura de influencia española en Caracas” will be open to the public until 30 August 2015.
