The exhibition “Físicas do Património Português. Arquitetura e Memória” [Physics of Portuguese Heritage. Architecture and Memory] was organized by the Portuguese Directorate General for Cultural Heritage and it will be held at the museum of Popular Art, in Lisbon, starting december 5th.

This exhibition aims to celebrate good examples of rehabilitation of architectural heritage in Portugal, while simultaneously reflecting on the history of heritage intervation and approaching contemporary debates.
The cases presented are split into distinct physical states of matter: Liquid, Solid and Other States.

This exhibition was organized on the occasion of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018, and it was curated by Jorge Figueira, assisted by Carlos Machado e Moura, with a curatorial project by Pedro Pacheco and graphic design by R2.
