Round table and guided tour: Bauhaus Today

The German School of Lisbon (a project by Otto bartning, the German architect who was responsible together with Walter Gropius, for the Bauhaus school curriculum in Weimar) is organizing a 1-day series of events with the Portuguese Architects Association [Ordem dos Arquitectos] to celebrate the 100 years of the Bauhaus, on the 9th November, in Lisbon.

Focusing on “Bauhaus Today”, the day will count with a visit to the campus of the German School of Lisbon, designed by Otto Bartning with recent additions designed by the architect João Luis Carrilho da Graça, followed by a round table on the impact of Bauhaus today.

At the round table the President of Docomomo International, Professor Ana Tostões, will be present together with João Luis Carrilho da Graça, José António Bandeirinha, Ezequel Santos and José Rui Marcelino; Moderated by the journalist Joana Emídio Marques.
