Doctorate (2005) in Theory\, History and Critique\, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul\, PROPAR-UFRGS \, Porto Alegre\, Brazil. Post-doctoral studies at FAU-USP\, 2008. CAPES PRIZE 2006 for the best national doctoral thesis on architecture. Professor of Modern and Contemporary Architecture and Design in Graduated and Post-Graduated Studios at Mackenzie Presbyterian University\, São Paulo\, since 1997.  Member of CICA – International Committee of Architectural Critics\, since 1985. Member of SAH – Society of Architectural Historians. Member of EAHN – European Architectural History Network. Member of the Editorial Board of Architecture Histories Journal. Member of DOCOMOMO Brazil and International since 1998\, former coordinator of Docomomo Brasil/São Paulo’s chapter. Former collaborator\, international editor and senior editor of Projeto (1983-1997. Member of the editorial board and frequent contributor to that and to other Brazilian and Ibero-American magazines. Has participated in several seminars\, debates and given conferences and courses as visiting professor in several countries.
